About SUper Stringer

Daniel Schank is a certified Master Racquet Technician (MRT) from the United States Racquet Stringers Association since 2012. This highly esteemed certification is even more special because Daniel is self-taught. 

He also has a Master’s Degree in Public Administration and a Bachelor of Science in Business from Old Dominion University. He received these degrees while working full time as an Active Duty Electronics Technician in the U.S. Navy and as a Civil Servant.

Daniel has taken his nuclear engineering thought process and applied it to tennis. He is passionate about how strings, racquet technologies and weight distribution of racquets can better help his local tennis players perform their best. He fully believes that each player can benefit from the correct choice in string, grips and custom specifications that he is frequently sharing his knowledge in the tennis community. 

Daniel is confident that he can help each and every player get the most out of their tennis game by helping them select the most appropriate equipment for their game style.

His professionalism, meticulous attention to detail, and consistent desire to help everyone he meets has allowed him to become one of the most sought after stringers in Hampton Roads. His leadership skills from the military has allowed him to Captain multiple USTA 3.5 and 4.0 teams to regional, sectional and national championships.
